This website hosts the memoires of Tesselo, a newspace tech startup. When Tesselo came to an end, we decided that we would share as much of our learnings as we could. We gained many valuable insights from our journey with Tesselo. Normally, this accumulated knowledge will simply disapear. But we decided that we will make an effort to share as much information as we can. We are going to document some of the coolest modeling we have done, and publish as much code as we can.

Code

We are progressively opening up our software packages. The packages are not very well documented, but may contain useful information for people in the Earth Observation and Space industry. You can consult all our open code repositories on our Github organization.

Business

Tesselo as a business has failed. There are many reasons for this, some are more obvious than others. We are going to describe our insights into the EO market, and the different verticals we have been opearting in.

Models

We are also going to openly describe the modeling we have done. We will share our most successful models that we discovered. These models resulted from many years of working with open EO data and running deep learning models on them. The insights gained go beyond the model definition though. When to run what kind of model is just as important as the technical model definition of the AI models themselves.
